One catalyst platform. Two ways to make jet fuel.
Infinium turns waste carbon dioxide and renewable power into drop-in fuels. Now it does the same with methane. Both routes finish in the same reactor and produce fuel that meets the specifications aviation already flies on today.

Fuels and chemicals that need nothing new to work
Infinium products are the same hydrocarbons the world uses and builds with today, assembled from waste carbon and renewable electricity instead of crude oil. That is why they can go to work now, at commercial volume, in fleets that already exist.

Introducing Infinium mSAF
NeweSAF answers the question of how to make jet fuel without oil. mSAF answers a different one: how to make a great deal of it, quickly, in the places where the feedstock is already stranded.
mSAF is sustainable aviation fuel produced from methane: renewable natural gas from landfills and anaerobic digesters, associated gas that would otherwise be flared, and other methane sources. The gas is reformed into syngas in Infinium Reform™, our electrified steam reformer, then converted to finished jet fuel in the same Synthesize™ step that makes eSAF. The same catalyst, the same reactors, the same product specification at the outlet.
Sited where the gas already is
Landfills, digesters, and gas processing hubs become fuel production sites. The feedstock is already gathered and already piped, so the plant goes to it rather than the other way around.
A simpler plant
Methane arrives carrying its own hydrogen and carbon. The front end stays compact and the electrical service modest, which means fewer systems to build, permit, and keep running.
Same molecule at the outlet
Synthetic paraffinic kerosene, no sulfur and very low aromatics. The fuel handling chain cannot tell the difference.
The plant is the product too
Infinium sells fuel, and it sells the means of making it. Each of the three core systems has been operated at commercial scale, and each of these can be licensed with its catalyst and core equipment for greenfield or brownfield deployments.
Infinium React™
Reverse water-gas shift. Waste CO₂ and hydrogen become low-carbon syngas. Operating commercially since 2023 — the first plant of its kind anywhere.
Infinium Synthesize™
A chain-limiting catalyst that produces finished liquid fuel directly, rather than the wax a conventional Fischer-Tropsch train yields. No wax refining, no trip to a refinery.
Infinium Reform™
The world's first commercial-scale electrified steam methane reformer, and the world's largest now under construction. Power replaces fired heat, which removes the combustion emissions that make conventional reforming carbon-intensive.

A decade of catalyst work
More than a decade of catalyst work sits behind Infinium — synthesis, testing, and steady improvement across generations of formulation and reactor design. The chemistry was settled before anything was built on it.
Infinium is backed by strategic and financial investors across North America, Europe and Asia, including Brookfield, Breakthrough Energy Catalyst, Amazon, NextEra Energy Resources, Mitsui & Co., Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Mitsubishi Corporation, SK, AP Ventures, University of Michigan, SMTB, Kajima and other world-class investors.
What are you trying to decarbonise?
Airlines buying fuel, industrial operators sitting on CO₂ or gas stream, and licensees who want to build their own plant all start in the same place: a conversation about volumes, timing and site.
More than a quarter of the world's carbon dioxide emissions come from the planes, ships and trucks that move goods and people. Those engines are not going away this decade. The fuel in them can.
Frequently asked questions
What is Infinium eSAF?
eSAF is Infinium's sustainable aviation fuel made by power-to-liquids from waste carbon dioxide and renewable electricity. It is a drop-in fuel that meets the specifications aviation already flies on, in commercial production since 2023 and flown on a commercial passenger service in 2026.
What is Infinium mSAF?
mSAF is Infinium's sustainable aviation fuel made from methane — renewable natural gas, landfill gas, flare gas — reformed in Infinium Reform™ and finished in Synthesize™, the same catalyst step used to make eSAF.
What's the difference between eSAF and mSAF?
Both finish in the same Synthesize™ catalyst step and meet the same fuel specification. They differ only in feedstock: eSAF starts from waste CO₂ and renewable power run through React™, Infinium's reverse water-gas shift step; mSAF starts from methane run through Reform™, Infinium's electrified reforming step.
Are Infinium's fuels drop-in replacements for fossil fuel?
Yes. Infinium products are not fuels that need a new engine, tank or pipeline — they are the same hydrocarbons the world already uses and builds with, assembled from waste carbon and renewable electricity (in the case of eSAF) and methane feedstocks (in the case of mSAF) instead of crude oil.
Is Infinium fuel in commercial production today?
Yes. Project Pathfinder, Infinium's first commercial-scale power-to-liquids plant, started up in 2023, delivering fuel and chemical products to customers over the past few years.
What is Infinium Edge?
Infinium Edge is Infinium's line of immersion cooling fluids and cooling systems for high-density data centers, produced on the same Synthesize™ catalyst platform as its transportation fuels but finished with an additional catalyst. More at www.infinium.ai.
